What is Mythic+ Rating in WoW?
Mythic+ Rating is the score World of Warcraft gives you for Mythic+ each season. It adds up your best result in every dungeon of the season, so it only goes up: higher keys and faster runs raise it, and a failed key never lowers it.
How the rating is calculated
Each dungeon in the season’s pool has its own best score, based on the key level you completed and how quickly you finished. Your Mythic+ Rating combines those best scores. Improving your result in a dungeon replaces its old score; a worse run in that dungeon changes nothing.
- Higher keys are worth more than lower ones.
- Finishing in time is worth more than finishing over time, and a faster run beats a slower one at the same level.
- Spreading your runs across all dungeons raises the total, since every dungeon contributes.
Why players care about it
Rating is shown on your character and in the group finder, so leaders often use it to decide who to invite to a key. It also unlocks seasonal achievements: in Midnight Season 2, Keystone Master requires a Mythic+ Rating of 2,000, with higher milestones above it.
Mythic+ Rating vs. Raider.IO score
Blizzard added the in-game rating in Shadowlands. Before that, players relied on Raider.IO, a third-party site and addon that still calculates its own score. The two numbers follow similar ideas but are not identical, so do not be surprised if they differ slightly.
Example
You have timed every dungeon at +8 except one, where your best is a +5. Timing that last dungeon at +8 raises your rating noticeably, often more than pushing a dungeon you have already done at +8 to a +9.

Frequently Asked Questions
