What is Legendary Ranked in Wild Rift?
Legendary Ranked, also called the Legendary Queue, is Wild Rift’s top competitive mode. You unlock it by reaching Master in ranked during the current season. It is solo queue only, uses its own MMR, points and tiers, and doesn’t affect your regular ranked rank. The best players compete for a place on public leaderboards.

Who can play
- Reach Master in regular ranked during the current season. Riot’s support page also lists a Champion Mastery requirement.
- Returning high-ranked players: since patch 7.3, players who reached Grandmaster the previous season have a lower threshold to re-enter.
- After the season reset: players who fall below Master have to climb back to unlock it again.
Tiers and progression
Players start in Legendary Commander and climb through Legendary Master, Legendary Grandmaster and Legendary Challenger up to Legend, where the top players appear on public leaderboards. Patch 7.3 added the Legendary Trial, a promotion challenge in the Commander tier that lets players with strong runs of games advance directly to the next tier. Points can also drop with inactivity.
Example
You reach Master in ranked halfway through the season. Legendary Ranked unlocks, and you queue alone during your region’s evening window. Your Legendary climb runs separately, so a bad night there doesn’t cost you Marks in regular ranked.
Is it worth playing?

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Legendary Ranked affect my normal rank?
No. It has its own MMR and points, so results there don’t change your regular ranked progress, and vice versa.
